Tonight we light a candle for "The Guinea Pig Man" Peter Gurney, author and campaigner for the rights and welfare of guinea pigs, famously making visits with five of his pigs to Great Ormond Street Hospital. After he died in 2006 two of his pigs became Surrey Squeakers (one of whom turned out to be pregnant and had 5 babies!)
